Terms of service

Who we are. KitLog is operated by Central Technologies Limited, registered in England & Wales (company no. 12231402), VAT GB 338720296. Registered office: 21 Glenhill Close, London N3 2JS. Contact: support@kit-log.com.

The service. KitLog provides a hosted equipment register: asset and staff records, assignment tracking, reminder emails, imports/exports and QR labels, per the plan you subscribe to.

Accounts. You're responsible for your login credentials and for the accuracy of data you enter. One organisation per account; admins you add act on your organisation's behalf.

Trials & billing. 14-day free trial, no card required. Paid plans bill monthly or annually via Stripe until cancelled. Cancel anytime via the billing portal; access continues to the end of the paid period. If a payment fails, access continues for a 7-day grace period, then the account becomes read-only. We never delete your data for non-payment — it's retained 90 days after cancellation.

Fair use. Plan asset caps apply. No abusive, unlawful or bulk-email use of the service.

What KitLog is not. Not an accounting/depreciation system, not a certification service (Cyber Essentials exports are an input to your submission, not a guarantee of passing), no hardware-scanner support, no uptime SLA on self-serve plans.

Liability. Service provided "as is"; to the extent the law allows, liability is capped at fees paid in the last 12 months. Nothing excludes liability that can't lawfully be excluded.

Changes. We may update these terms with 30 days' notice by email for material changes.
